Privacy Policy
What this site collects, why, and what you can do about it.
What this covers
This policy describes what the Drennen Family Foundation collects through drennenfoundation.org, why, and what you can do about it. It covers this website only. It does not cover email you send us directly, or anything you share with us outside the site.
What we collect
Two forms on this site collect information, and only what you type into them. The general contact form asks for your name, an optional organization, your email address, an optional phone number, what your message is about, and the message itself. The Thrive at Home partnership inquiry form asks the same contact details plus a set of questions about the project you are proposing.
Like most websites, this one also records ordinary technical information when a page loads, such as the browser and device type, the approximate region a request came from, which pages were viewed, and the site that referred you. Analytics of that kind run only if you allow them in the consent banner.
Why we collect it
To answer you, to evaluate a partnership inquiry, and to understand in aggregate which parts of the site are useful. That is the whole list. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build profiles or to advertise to you elsewhere.
Who sees it
Form submissions go to the Foundation’s own email address and are read by Erik Drennen, Nikki Drennen, and Avery Schuller. Our website host, email provider, and analytics provider process data on our behalf to run the site. Beyond that we disclose personal information only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept as long as it is useful to the relationship it belongs to. Partnership inquiries are kept while the idea is under consideration and for a reasonable period afterward, so we can remember what was already discussed. Ask us to delete what you sent and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Cookies and consent
A consent banner appears the first time you visit. Cookies needed to make the site work are always on. Analytics cookies run only if you allow them, and you can change your mind at any time through the banner’s preferences. Your browser may also let you send a global privacy signal, and we honor it where it applies.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. Ask and we will do it. There is no form for this and no fee. Write to hello@drennenfoundation.org or to the mailing address below, and tell us what you want done.
Children
This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information through this site, write to us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection and access to the systems behind it is limited to the people who need it. No website can promise perfect security, so please do not send sensitive personal or financial details through a web form.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. Material changes will be described rather than slipped in quietly.
